Today I am pleased to announce that Bruce the Bear will be traveling with me to Oxford. He is such a photography fanatic that I wouldn't be surprised if he made it into most of the pictures on this study abroad journey!

 

 I picked up one of the books I needed from the library this afternoon and am planning some shopping trips with mom. Still waiting on the financial aid advance so I can purchase my plane ticket... That is going to be one of the last steps to securing this trip!

Just finished purchasing all my books that I need to read before the trip. About $100 spent for 10 books. Cheapest was free from the library. Most expensive was $42 plus shipping from amazon. I can't wait until they all arrive and I get to delve into them!

I've setup some time today to order those books finally. I also need to find out whether or not my phone will work overseas. I am really going to procrastinate the verizon call...

Only 31 more days until I leave. My goal today is to order the books that I need to read before I leave. I've read 1 and a half of the 10 books. Hope to have it up to 2 by Thursday...

Now that finals are over and my summer has officially begun it is time to start the Oxford countdown! Yay!! I have 32 days until I leave for Oxford. My travel date is set for June 14th and the program starts on June 15th.

I still have to purchase the plane tickets (just waiting on financial aid) and start a list for packing... Oh and I still need to purchase and read 9 more books on the required reading book list, so amazon here I come!
