Day 22

Today we had an optional field trip to Blenheim Palace (well around Blenheim Palace because it costs too much to get in), Bladon to see Winston Churchill's grave, and A tea shop for a full cream tea!

It was a blast walking through the country side and the palace lake made me miss home like crazy! Luckily Geoff lived in the Northwest for a while so he could sympathize a little bit...

 

Day 21

Field Trip to Winford and Burford today!

Simon was our only guide today so we had to make sure to keep our eyes set on him at all times!

So much walking was involved with this field trip! We cleared at the least 3 miles but it felt like it was endless. It was so beautiful though that I want to find some hiking trails near by my house and school so that I can continue to ask in natures beauty when I get back!

Just a whole bunch of studying today... I didn't even really leave my room :(

Day 18: Halfway Through!!!

Today has been an overall good day!

I did not have any seminars so I spent five hours in the library and proceeded to finish my first business ethics essay! Now I just have to have it chopped up by friends and family, rewrite it all over again and it should be good to go!
I have learned that construction workers over here have just about as much dignity as construction workers in the states. It is always an adventure to get cat called by a bunch of workers as you pass by on your way from the library to dinner. Yeah, although I think they should call it horse called over here because they click their tongues instead of whistling...
Started listening to an audiobook while I am here because my eyes are usually to tired to read another thing but I enjoy having some non academic reading to help keep me sane. The book is called "When She Woke" and I have only made it through the first part but it has already started to make a powerful statement. I let you know what I think when I finish it...that is if I finish it. With all my studying and adventuring over here I may not have time.

Day 17

I spent most of this evening busting out my Business Ethics Essay after about 4.5 hours of lecture time. My brain feels like mush!! But I am already half way through! Yay!!!

Ahh Sunday, a day of rest and relaxation! Not! Spent the day organizing my resources and prepping to get ready for my first essay. Here it comes!!
